Saturday 27th September 2025
Yesterday saw Linda take Harry on in our club Championship final. It was a great game with the first 10 ends being neck and neck. Harry then managed to get a break and although Linda tried her hardest she just couldn't catch Harry up. Thank you and congratulations both it was a fantastic game to watch.

9th September 2025

We played our first League match of the season against Crablands. After a slow start where we were chasing points on both mats, we kicked into gear and it ended as a draw on Mat 1 and a win on Mat 2. 
Carol, George and Una came along to support us which gave us all a boost. Perhaps that was what turned the tide of our fortunes.Peter M and Jim prepared the tea and biscuits afterwards and helped with the clearing up.

Ist September 2025

Great day yesterday at ThakehamSMBC. They put on a well planned competition at a lovely venue.
Nyetimbers Lions (1) won 3 out of their 4 games. They played so well together, so proud of you guys and gals, well done Ken W, Jan W, Di W and John G.
Lions (2) won 2 out of 4 games, well done Linda B, Geoff T, Mary C and Moi. Overall 5 games won out of 8 and only the 2nd time out at one of our fellow clubs charity knockout competitions.
It was a long day (leaving before 8am), I think I got home around 6 (in time to watch the Eagles thrash Villa 😆 and have a lovely roast cooked by Tony), well worth it though for the experience alone and a fantastic result overall. Thank you Ken and Geoff for driving and both teams for participating on a early lovely summer Sunday 🥰

We had a very productive morning today. We vacuumed and retaped all the mats and sorted out the boxes in the kitchen. So if you can’t find anything….
